Funds for Research and Conservation
BirdsCaribbean provides grants from three “named” funds that acknowledge the contributions by a living or deceased person to bird conservation, particularly in the Caribbean.
BirdsCaribbean is extremely grateful to those who inspired the funds and who have generously donated and enabled us to make these grants. The funds give us the opportunity to advance scientific knowledge, engage communities, and promote creative approaches, by supporting individuals and organizations at work in the Caribbean.
Our awards are:
The Betty PEtersen conservation fund
the David S. Lee Fund for the Conservation of Caribbean Birds
THe James A. Kushlan Research and Conservation Fund
